Utah Emerging Leaders Forum forms leaders of character, connects them through civic friendship, and turns conviction and relationship outward through meaningful service to Utah’s communities.

  • Short readings and case studies on statesmanship, institutions, and difficult leadership decisions.
  • Small-group discussions that practice listening, disagreement, and thoughtful reflection.
  • Service-oriented conversations that ask what responsibility requires of us.

Build the relationships.

  • Networking breakfasts, small dinners, and informal gatherings designed for real conversation.
  • Intentional introductions among emerging leaders, experienced mentors, and peers from different fields.
  • Peer roundtables where members share goals, challenges, opportunities, and ways to help one another.
  • A statewide community that keeps members connected beyond a single event or season.

  • Member-led service projects responding to practical needs in Utah communities.
  • Partnerships with civic, charitable, and neighborhood organizations already doing worthy work.
  • Opportunities for members to contribute time, professional skills, judgment, and leadership where they are most useful.
  • Reflection after service that connects action with stewardship, citizenship, and the common good.
Success looks like

Members leave their communities stronger than they found them—and understand leadership as a duty exercised for others.
